Tours of Wales 3. Ancient Wales.

2018 is the year of Discovery at Cambrian Safaris.

We can offer a tour around Wales discovering a variety of ancient sites; Cromlechs and burial chambers from up to 6,000 years ago, ancient villages from 2,500 to 5,000 years ago, a bronze age copper mine, a roman gold mine, ancient roadways, Iron age hill forts and all of the beautiful landscapes and scenery we enjoy on all of our tours.

We can add to this the option of a selection of Castles, telling the story of the Normans attempts to wear down the Welsh princes and their uprisings, our favourite castles include Castell Y Bere, Cardigan, Carreg Cennen, Cilgerran, and Caernarfon (where Edward 1st tried to re-create the legend of a Roman Emperor said to be behind the lineage of the Welsh Princes.)
